The Hull

The fiberglass hull is sandwich type with use of Airex foam and Kevlar 49.

The bottom was first sanded in preparation for antifouling paint only but at the conclusion of so much hard sanding I decided to take advantage of the well prepared surface ad a long lasting improvement and first painted the bottom with three coats of epoxy paint. Only then was the antifouling paint applied.
